About
Don Potter has a background in Printing Management and Computer technology. With a degree from Rochester Institute of Technology’s school of Print Media he worked for over 25 years with Scitex and Creo, the two largest competitors in electronic prepress, as a trainer, and in sales engineering in the Midwest and Global Accounts. His client list included some of the largest printers and publishers in the Americas and Europe including: RR Donnelley, Chicago Tribune, Sports Illustrated, People, WACE, Schawk, National Geographic, HallMark Cards, Watchtower Publishing, American Greetings, and many community printers throughout the US.
In recent years, he has worked in web development, audiobook publishing, and his current gig: IT management for Hall-Dale School District.
Outside of work, he can be found hiking, kayaking, or skiing throughout Maine and elsewhere. Other intrests include photography, web development, and all things Macintosh. Several times a month he can also be found volunteering for Maine Handicapped Skiing. The annual fund-raiser for MHS will be coming up soon, please be sure to help out in whatever way you can.
